Tomer Volansky

Tomer is working on particle physics phenomenology going beyond the SM and with significant emphasis on dark matter physics.  His research includes the development of experimental methods to directly search for dark matter, and various aspects of cosmo- and astroparticle physics. The goal of Volansky’s research is to better understand the microscopic quantum description of nature, its elementary particles, interactions, and, as a consequence, the inferred evolution of our universe from the Big Bang till today.
